Thanksgiving

Several years ago we added a new member to our family.  Yellow and Blue's first grade teacher Mrs. Edgel started coming to our house for Sunday dinners.  As we have all gotten older we have still enjoyed Mrs. Edgel coming to share our Sunday afternoons.  We finally have a picture with all of us, and want to share it with you.

I am so thankful for a healthy family and super supportive friends and family.  Heaven knows we have really needed them this year.  I was recently diagnosed with depression, and it has been a real roller coaster ride at our house.  It has been really hard to admit that I need help and then to accept it.  I know that some people may wonder why I of all people should get depression when I have NOTHING to be depressed about.  Let me tell you, I feel that way too.  All I can do is pray that this passes quickly and that the lessons I need to learn help me help someone else.

Hello Kitty!

Brown almost four years ago!!
Brown is now another year older.  She started pre-school this year and is loving her class and teacher Miss Orlene.  For Halloween Brown and her school went on a hay ride and then had a Halloween parade.  As you can see she LOVES Hello Kitty right now.  She even had a Hello Kitty cake.  Thanks for being part of our family Brown.  We love you so much.
Halloween Parade with her daddy!

Hello Kitty is so cute. (and yummy!)

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!?!?!

We had a first time in our family!!  Yellow and Blue played little league football this year.  It was so fun to go to the games and cheer for them.  Green was one of Yellow's coaches.  Our little teams weren't the best, but they were the 'Brave"st!  HAHAHA  (our team was the Braves)
Here are some pictures of the men in my life in uniform:
Here is Blue, our GQ model.  He had to pose tough!

MMMM  ladies and gents this is why I fell in love with this man.  . .   Football  uniforms!

Green, Blue and Yellow.  What a bunch of good looking football players.

Down, set, hike!  I would have played if they would have let  me.  There  were plenty  of kids I wanted to  take  down!!  Needless to say, Yellow and Blue were embarrassed OFTEN!

Autumn Ride and Mummy?

Green wanted to take a ride over Mirror Lake Highway and look at the leaves, so our fam piled into the truck and took a ride.
For those of you who maybe interested. . .

Family fun.
We threw snowballs and had the kids screaming!

Baldy.
Green wants the family to climb this come summer time.

See what I mean about packed in?!?!?!

More of the mountains.  We forgot we were there to look at the leaves.

This past week I went in and had surgery for carpel tunnel in my right wrist.
For such a little incision it sure was a HUGE bandage.

A Post to End all Posts

Ok.  I finally have two minutes to get some pictures on and  tell you about our summer/fall.
This summer we went camping with a few of our good friends.  As you can see we went to Flaming Gorge.  We saw the dam(heard A LOT of dam jokes), went rafting down the Green River, boated, cooked, ate,and had a very good time.  Here are the highlights of our trip:  the kids face painting and the men in the boat they FINALLY got to run.  Thanks Rustin and Sarah for bringing the boat!!!

Green and friends getting ready to leave the women folk behind.
We had plenty of trips to Walmart this summer.  Between groceries, camping trips, wedding gifts and just life my kids now call it home.
Happy to be a family.

Happier to be in the front with mom and dad.
Cheer camp was another highlight.
GOOOO  Braves!

SLACKER!!!!

WOW!!  I am vastly disappointed in myself.  We have had football games, baseball games, camping trips, weddings, new grass and so much more, and I have yet to get anything written about them!!  Folks, we have been busy!!  School has started and I thought things would slow down, but not so.  For all of you that have been checking and re-checking to see if I have updated I am so sorry!!
Here are a few pictures of my niece's wedding in August to hold you over for a few (I hope) weeks.  I made the skirts that the girls are wearing.  We had a fun time dressing up and celebrating a new member joining in the insanity!!  Welcome Jake!!
The little flower girls from our side of the family.  They were ready to dance their way through the night!

Best friends . . .  when they get together!

Our little family.

Our BIG family.  Only 1 person was missing, and it was because her mother didn't know where she was.  (It wasn't MY kid!!)

Catch Up!!

What a summer!  We have been playing baseball, camping, preparing for a wedding and a missionary returning, family reunions, playing with friends and working in the yard.
Our neighbors had some leftover sod, so they donated it to us!

Some of our flowers.  The Bacholer Buttons went wild.
This is our backyard AFTER curbing and sod.  I LOVE it!!

Front of the house with the curbing and sod.  We went on vacation and the grass went on strike.  It has started to perk up again.  I am really enjoying the green and looking forward to mowing this bad boy!!!
