Our family is full of COLORFUL characters. Just like a bag of M & M's. We hope you enjoy getting past the "Hard Shell" that protects the "Chocolatey Sweetness" of our family. . .

Summertime Fun
Yellow and Blue played baseball this summer. Yellow was a Marlin and Blue was a Rockie. We had fun watching them play. Thanks so much to the parents that were their coaches.
The weather here has been VERY hot. Green got the kiddie pool out. Here are some shots of the kids playing in the tiny pool. All of them in there made me think of the nursery rhyme about "three men in a tub."

YES, ANOTHER Post
What a week for blogging. We have been very busy in our neck of the woods with family reunions and girls' getaways. Here are the pictures from Green's family reunion.
Green played some game involving throwing silver balls instead of horse shoes, and Blue had a blast playing with the marshmellow guns. The only pictures you see of me are the ones I take. Still smilin' after three nights in a tent.
The ride home. Look how excited they all are to get home. (They were excited we had missed church.)
Grandpa Dee and Grandma Jeannie
They are the reason we are here!!!
Chow Time. We ate REALLY well.
Grandpa Doug and Grandma Malinda. They made sure we were fed
the best of the best. Brown is a little upset because we wouldn't let her play by the hot stoves. The ride home. Look how excited they all are to get home. (They were excited we had missed church.)

All I Want for Christmas . . .
Well we have had a rash of loose teeth at our house. The Tooth Fairy is going to have to file bankruptcy if this trend continues. Yesterday Yellow lost a tooth and received a letter and $1 from the Tooth Fairy and today Blue lost two teeth. I guess we will have to wait and see what the Tooth Fairy leaves for him.

Ride 'em Cowboy!!
My sisters are turning 30 and 32 today. My mom, sisters and I went riding for Jaime's 30th birthday. We had so much fun. We rode up in Swan Valley, Idaho and then had a yummy supper after at the ranch we rode at. As you can see in the pictures we are professionals!!
I was so proud of myself for getting on and off the horse without help!! My horses name was Tink. He was a mustang. Two wild animals up on the trail together. No one could tame us!!
AFTER two hours on a horse. I felt sorry for the horse because I knew if I was sore he was too!!

My Family Reunion
My parents own a farm in Idaho. That is where we went for our family reunion to help clean up ditches and cut down trees. Here are some pictures of our adventure.
This is me with one of my nieces and my parents and sisters. (Working on NOT getting a farmer's tan.)
My family. My little brother was at Marine camp so he missed all the fun. As you can see I am the one with personality!!!
OK, so we ALL have personality. I am just more willing to share mine. These are the best people in the world. I love you guys!!!
Green and I's crew. We are happy farmers.

Tonsils, Testimonies and Tarantulas
TONSILS
On the 2nd of July we took Red to Primary Children's Medical Center to have her tonsils removed. She did really well and is up and running around. (We just have to keep her off of the trampoline for 10 days!) Blue had his tonsils removed about 3 years because of sleep apnea and Red has the same problem. It looks like next year Brown will be having her tonsils removed and joining her father, brother and sister in the No Tonsils Club.
He glued feathers from our couch onto the body and even drew teeth, then he cut the tarantula out and hid him next to my bed. What a creative crazy kid!!

TESTIMONY
Today was Fast and Testimony meeting at church. Several kids got up to share their testimonies and so sweet little Brown decided she wanted to go up too. Her daddy took her up and she said all by herself, "Love mom and dad, mom and dad." What a sweet little girl. I know that I am VERY partial to my kids, but she said just what I needed, when I needed it. I don't know how many other mothers get discouraged, but this week was a discouraging week. I felt like the worst mother in the world and then this little girl gets up and tells everyone that she loves her mom!! Anyway, below is a picture of Brown. (Can't take pictures in the chapel so it was here at home while she was eating her favorite food.)
TARANTULAS
Blue went to the library the other day and checked out a book called "The Sneaky Book for Boys." He has been very busy working on being "sneaky" and trying to play tricks on us. Well, this morning I woke up to a tarantula next to my head. (I wasn't sure what it was at first) Here is a picture of the scary bug. Remember Blue made him/it.

We are looking forward to next summer which means sprinkler system and GRASS!!! Can't wait for a yard I can invite people over to enjoy with me!!!
