Our family is full of COLORFUL characters. Just like a bag of M & M's. We hope you enjoy getting past the "Hard Shell" that protects the "Chocolatey Sweetness" of our family. . .

Caynonlands 1/2 Marathon and 5 Mile Run
So, Green and I went with some of our friends down to Moab to run. What a beautiful area!! I had no idea what it would look like, but it was so pretty. We stayed in a condo with two other couples and had a great time. What a blessing to have such good and fun friends. I ran the 5 mile race and Green ran the 1/2 marathon which is 13.1 miles. Needless to say we were exaushted after the race. My time was 61: 34 and Green's was 2:52:30. Once again it was so fun. I am looking forward to next year.

St Patrick's Day/ Haircuts
Well today I took Red and Brown to get their hair cut. Red donated 10 inches to Locks of Love. Brown's hair wasn't long enough to donate. She had 4 inches taken off. My mother is so mad at me that she hung up the phone when I told her that I'd had their cut. Below are my babies with their St. Paddy's Dos. Also pictures of their new haircuts.

Daddy Daughter Date
Green took Red on their 1st date. They went to Disney on Ice. Here are some of the Highlights.
In front of the Princess and the Frog set.
Tinkerbell and friends. (Ariel was also there)
Best buds.
Green said that when it started he looked over and she was so excited!!
I am so grateful that I have a hubby that will take his "Princess" to girlie things.
End of an Era
Well, I have come to a decision. On Wednsesday March 17th we will be taking Red and Brown to have their hair cut. I have enjoyed trying new hairdo's on them, but alas, I am tired of the crying because of tangles. I have to say I am looking forward to a summer of barettes and short hair. Red's hair is long enough that we can donate to Locks of Love. I really hope it grows back as long as it is now though. People really love her long hair. Especially her Grandma Anderson.
Here are a few of the do's from this year.
This was our Valentine heart. Her Pre-school teachers loved this one!

Pictures of the Champions
Yellow with his participation medal. He was pretty upset that he lost, but we are just proud that he tried.
Blue and his participation medal. He got over the losses very quickly. He was just happy to get a medal.

Tough Love
Well, we attended our 1st wrestling tournament in Evanston, WY on the 6th of March. It was a learning experience. Koy lost his 2 matches and Zack had a bye (like a forfit) for his first match and then lost his next two matches. They both did well. My parents and sister with her two boys came and watched and so did Green's parents. My mom cried when the boys did. She said she'll never come to another wrestling match again. Strange, because my dad and two brothers wrestled, my hubby and his dad did also. I guess we are all just one big happy wrestling family. :) I will post pictures of the boys with their participation medals. More fun coming up at the Coalville, UT tournament on March 18th.

Watch out World!!! WWF
So here are Blue and Yellow in their wrestling singlets and head gear. As you can see they are two boys to be feared and admired by those in wrestling. Our first tournament is March 6th in Evanston, WY. Grandparents and cousins will be there to watch and support our two Brave Warriors! I am thinking of taking a sedative that day so that I don't embarrass my kids or myself. Who knew we'd be wrestling? NOT me!!
