Well Blue is now a BIG boy. He had another birthday. I can't believe that he is six. He loves to draw so he received a lot of paper from my parents along with smencils.(Pencils that smell.) From Green's parents he received "Bendaroo's". It is wax that bends and kids can make crafts with. He and his siblings are having a good time with that. Green and I gave him the markers that only color on special paper. Hopefully this will help with his habit of coloring on walls. Above is a pictue of the sign he made himself for his Birthday!! What a creative guy!! I love him.
Today I went with some friends to get facials and have lunch. I had a great time. Can't wait to take the hubby back for a "Man Facial"!!!
Our family is full of COLORFUL characters. Just like a bag of M & M's. We hope you enjoy getting past the "Hard Shell" that protects the "Chocolatey Sweetness" of our family. . .

Christmas Break.
Blue and Yellow making faces at the family Christmas party.

Well, it is official. The kiddies are out of school for a couple of weeks. I am so glad that there is snow for them to play in. I haven't taken any pictures of them outside yet, but am looking forward to getting a few good ones of red noses and ears. Green took the kids to his family party this last week. They all had such a good time. I went with my family to the temple. My niece is going on a mission to Alberta, Calgary Canada in January so she took out her endowments. It was so nice to go and be with important people in my life and know that the other important people in my life were having fun and being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa.

Halloween 2009
Red just before her second eye surgery. It is so hard to watch them wheel her away and know they are going to be poking around in her eye. She came through great and the Dr.'s said everything went really well. So thankful for the power of prayer and the peace of mind it brings to know that prayers are heard by a loving Heavenly Father.
Brown as a jellyfish for Halloween
. I can't believe how quickly time flies. It seems like just yesterday she was a brand new baby, took little for Halloween.
Brown as a jellyfish for Halloween
Red as Princess "Life is Too Tough." She wasn't happy for some reason, maybe her glass slipper was too tight.
Blue was all about SpongeBob Squarepants this year. I think his costume turned out great!! He already knows what he wants to be next year. . . .Sonic the Hedgehog. Any ideas on how to make that one?
Yellow made it easy on me this year and went as a football player. Thank heaven for good people that aloow me to borrow
their football gear!! Thanks for being such a TEAM PLAYER!!

Life as we Know it
Wow. I looked at some of my friends blogs and they are sure on top of it. I was inspired to try to do better. For Halloween Green was Ozzy Osbourne, I went as Sharon, but never got a picture of myself!! Yellow was a football player, Blue was SpongBob Squarepants, Red was a princess and Brown was a Jellyfish. We went to GR for Halloween and had a fun time. Red had cataracts removed from both eyes the beginning of October. Above you'll find a picture of her before surgery. Everything went well and she is doing great!!

Updates
So, it has been forever since I have updated our blog. Green installed some new K9 security thing and I can't seem to get my pictures onto the blog. We have had a fun summer. We have been camping twice and 'training' as a family for the upcoming Wasatch Women 5K. I am the only one running, but I have quite the team here helping me prepare. I will try to get pictures up soon. Can't wait for the kiddies to go to school!!! Only one at home four days a week for two hours.

WAAAAM bulance
Our little ones where fighting so Green made them hug each other for 5 mins. They loved it as you can see. It was so funny. They cried and cried, but I had to laugh or I would have cried too. The fought all day!!
I am so happy that it is nice outside so that we can send the kiddies out. We are working on getting a fence put in as soon as we have the backyard leveled out and putting up the trampoline so they can spend even more time outside.

I will get some pictures up of what we are doing. I am working on the girls' rooms right now. Browns room will be pale yellow and light blue and reds room will be pink, of coarse!!!

MOVING DAY(S)

Moving In
Thanks to all the guys that showed up to help us move our piano. I know that it weighs a ton. Thank you to Green's parents. You are too good to us. We really appreciate all of your help. Also a thank you to the special lady that watched our kids.
We are slowly moving a few things into the house. Not sure when our closing date is, but the builder has been so nice and is letting us move some things in so that we don't have so much to do later.

We have had several call wanting to move the closing date sooner. I am all for it, but now I really have to hustle to pack. Looks like we are now moving sometime around the 11th of March. I admit I am not looking forward to hauling stuff up and down stairs.

Happy Birthday!!
The New Owners
Last night I met the man that is going to buy our house. He is really nice. I thought he was around 23 yrs old, but he is 28. He and his wife have two children. 8 and 5. I feel like they will be a great addition to our ward, and will take good care of Morning Glory Manor. She is from Mexico, so I am hoping we get to be good friends and she can teach me how to make some kickin' mexican food. YEW HAW!!!

Kitchen cabinets
I LOVE the cabinets in the new kitchen. They look great. We did finally get a furnace (new) in and had electrical redone at the old house. It feels really good to know that things are moving along again. Now we just have to wait to hear about financing for the buyers of our house and for us. More WAITING!!! Happy Valentine's Day to you all. Hope that you got to do something with your honey/kids. We spent the day at the church while Green helped the electrician. XOXOXO

NEW FURNACE
Well we are supposed to get a new furnace today, but it has yet to show. This morning Green and I un-hooked the water heater. I was scared to death that we were going to be blown up undoing the gas line. All is well though, and we are all still alive. We haven't had a furnace since Monday. Let me tell you thank heaven for our fireplace. I think we went through 2 cords of wood. BRRRRRRR

Hurricane Home Projects
Can I just say how sick I am of the phrase, "Not up to code." My house is almost 50 yrears old, of course it isn't up to todays code. Good Grief!!! Well, that said, we are now "up to coding" our furnace and electrical. I am honestly thinking I'll just stay here after we make all the improvements. Ok, not really. I would love the house on the hill. I have even bought a new washer and dryer for it. Please everyone out there in blog land, pray that things get going better.

This week
Green here: We are finally getting over our crummy week. Ear infections, fevers, body aches, and SORE throats. It sure was made better by getting a tax return though. Still waiting on the loan processes for both houses. We are still praying that everything goes well.

Our 1st Showing
Today is our 1st showing. We are also hoping that it is our last. It would be great if this was the couple/family that bought our house after their 1st time through the house. Needless to say Green and I were up until midnight cleaning and prepping and now up at 6am to finish. Yellow just truned 7. What a blessing in our life to have such a sweet and smart little guy. We are so very blessed.

Making changes
Well, we are still hard at work painting, caulking, and beautifying our house. So much to do an so little time to get it done. January is a busy month for us with school, and birthdays. Hard to believe another year has come and gone.

House for Sale
On January 14th we put Morning Glory Manor on the market. We are hoping to move into a bigger house. This is why I have been cleaning and painting like crazy! OK so Green has helped. The kiddies aren't sure what to think. I am not sure any of us have really sat down and thought. We haven't had the time. Anyway, please say your prayers that all goes well. Love, Orange

Hello from the land of obsesive cleaners!! We have been gutting out our house and trying to "Simplify" by getting rid of what I consider 'clutter'. My idea of clutter, is not Green's idea of clutter. We have been trying to sneak each others stuff out while the other isn't looking. All in all I hope this helps with the atmosphere in our home and makes it more peaceful since there is less stuff to pick up and fight over. (the kids are fighting about toys, etc. . . ) Hope you are all doing well.

A Milestone in our Family
Yellow lost his first tooth yesterday. We were all very excited as this is our first time having the Toothfairy visit. She left $1 in place of his tooth.
