Running . . .

So, the other day I get the BRILLIANT idea to run 1mile EVERY TIME I yell at my kids.
Day 1: 5 miles
Day 2: 2 miles
Day 3: 2 miles
Day 4: 4 miles
Can I say it hasn't helped much?  I told my mom I would either be VERY kind or SKINNY.  Looks like I might be skinny.  (Or Not)  Today I get to run 5 miles.  I am not looking forward to it.  Hopefully skinny AND kind come soon because I am tired!!!

Dolly Wadsworth

They say children are hitting puberty at earlier ages these days.  I agree.
Red came into show me her latest additions last night.  I think I should get the number of her Dr.

The other day Blue and Red got into a tiff.  Green made them stand on the stairs hugging, but when they saw the camera they wouldn't touch each other.  Notice the stuffed animals in the background along with BrownYellow lined them all up to enjoy the show that the kids were putting on.

Camp CRAZY!!!

Well folks, I am officially done camping for the summer.  We have been camping in Idaho, Utah, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming.  Boy am I tired.  I think some of our clothes have been washed so many times that we are going to have to use them as rags.  Our first trip was for my siblings and parents family reunion, then we had the Wadsworth family reunion, then my dad and his siblings reunion, followed by camping with friends and ending with Green and his parents family reunion.  Thank heaven I get to come home to a hot shower and a working washer and dryer after each trip.
Here are some pictures highlighting the last two camping trips of the season.
We went swimming at Whitney Reservoir.  The scenery  was so pretty.  The kids had a great time in the water and also on Nielsen's fishing boat.

Face painting was a HUGE success.
Red with Flowers.
Brown had a crown on one cheek and a heart on the other.
Yellow was half red and half white.

Blue was black and red.
We had a great time with our friends the Devey's, Hirzel's and Nielsen's.  Thanks for the fun memories.

The next pictures are from our last camping trip with Green's parents.  We were up at Middle Piney in Wyoming.  It was so pretty. We came home with several souvenirs.  Mosquito bites!!!!  We went fishing, played in the creek (brrrrrr), ate yummy food, rode the four wheelers, and hiked to our little hearts content.
Here is Brown in her hiking outfit.  We thought she looked like a little German with her lederhosen.

Red and Yellow fishing with Green.  They did really well casting.  I was surprised.

Blue and Grandpa Doug taking a break from fishing.

Blue and Yellow got into the creek but the water was so cold that they didn't want  to get all wet so Green would throw rocks to splash them.

Our home away from home.
