Happy Mother's Day

Our Mother's Day program from church.  I am on the second row from the bottom.  Red drew the first picture of me, then Blue and finally Yellow drew me.  (Notice the unibrow he gave me)
Just a note to let my mother know how thankful I am for her.  I have a super mom that has loved, laughed, cried and supported me through my life so far!!  I look forward to many more years of the same!!!

RUN. . .don't walk to the nearest finish line!!!

Green ran in the 1/2 marathon again this year.  His time was 2 hrs 36 mins.  The kiddies and I drove down to watch him run.  We had fun cheering for all of the runners, but especially for Green.  After watching the race we were all inspired to want to run.  (We haven't yet!!)

The last stretch!!

Headed to the finish line.

After the race.

Friends

Just a few things I have learned from my friends.
*Abnormal IS normal.
*Everyone has the same problems, rich or poor we still wonder if we are good enough.
*Friends are just family members with different relatives.
*You feel sad, I feel sad, we ALL feel sad.  Just call and you'll find out your problems aren't as bad as they seemed.
*Fun is being yourself and knowing the people around you love you ANYWAY!

I LOVE my friends.  I have been blessed to have some very AWESOME women in my life.  (Their husbands aren't bad either)  Thank you for being in my life!

Birthday Boy

Happy birthday to the BEST husband in the world!!  I am so blessed to have this man in my life.  Last night the kiddies and I went to Primary Children's to deliver an amazing birthday cake to Green.  I wanted him to be able to share with his co-workers in the PICU.
Cake provided by Jesica Blonquist.  She has become our family go to cake maker!!!  Never been disappointed by this lady or her cakes.

Complete with white chocolate aspirin!!

Cutting the cake with family and friends.

Date with the girls

Green took the girls and I to Disney on Ice.  It was so good.  The girls LOVED every minute of it.  It was fun to see their faces light up and see them wave and yell to the princesses.  The costumes and skating were really good.   We all had so much fun!!  Thanks babe for a fun evening, and thanks to the McKnight family for keeping the boys.

The girls enjoying our date night with Dad.

Minnie making a wish.  Bibbity, Bobbity, Boo . . .

Birthday in Wonderland

This year Alice and the Queen of Hearts threw me a birthday party.  It was so much fun.  We had tea with the Mad Hatter and the Rabbit, even Tweedle Dee/Dum was there.  Here are the highlights.  I also got a new sewing machine from my sweet hubby!!!

Sew WHAT!?!?!

That's right folks!!  I have been taking sewing lessons.   Thus far I have made 1 pair of pajama pants, 1 quiet book, 4 skirts and 1 vest.  I am loving it!!  It is 'sew' fun to see how all  these random pieces of fabric become something my girls can wear.  Here is a couple of my finished projects.
