Take me out to the ballgame. . .

On June 23rd Green and I went to Denver,Colorado to visit Coors Field.  We got to watch our (Honey's) beloved Boston Red Sox take on the Colorado Rockies.  I was a little nervous about the trip because I am not the baseball aficionado that my hubby is.   Anyhoo, I LOVED the game.  The noise, the food, some of the people. . .  It was so fun.  Green bought me a "special" Red Sox shirt for the occasion and I even got to wear my Red Sox ballcap.  We had good seats and an even better hotel room when we finally found our way there.  (Not moving to a large city anytime soon)  We saw all the big name players, Big Poppy, Pedroia, Nava (the boy wonder), Papelbon (is supposed to be the closing pitcher, but he opened the door and let the Rockies walk all over him), Lackey (don't get me started) but NO Youkilis. Jason Giambi a New York Yankee turned Rockie was also there.  He hit the  homerun that won the game for the Rockies 9-6.  Boston fans HATE Giambi.  And all this I learned while spending sometime with my very own All Star.
Let's go RED SOX!!!

  1. You guys look adorable! You would look even more adorable with the other biggest Red Sox fan and his wife sitting right beside you! It's a shame you didn't get to see Youkilis do his bat dance that would have made the game win or lose!!! Congrats on the new fence!!
